I work in a Nursing home that rescued a Sheltie 12 years ago.Annie was five at the time and has recently passed away at 17.all the staff and residents just loved her she was gentle with the elderly and even people who weren`t into dogs loved her.Her death has affected so many staff and kudos to the management for making a memorial garden at the staff room for her.I would not hesitate to reccommend a Sheltie.

this is so nice to find....I love shelties and think they are the best...but I love all dogs.
Hi, I've loved 2 little sheltie girls. Chelsea, (RIP) was an aggressive Tomboy, April's a shy little princess. Both have albums, if you can get to them, enjoy.
My Callie was beautiful. As you can see Sadie was too. She was sweet, courageous, tough and full of sheltie fire. it nearly killed us when we lost her.
Above is a picture of my beloved Callie whom I lost last Sept 20th. We also have a ten year old named Katie and a 7 month old named Jake. Please feel free to ad any info or anything pertaining to the love and care of shelties.
