Hi everyone! I have been a member of this website because of my Shih Tzus but now I am becoming a member of this group because of a new addition to our home; a little 4 year old Maltese named "Pip-Squeak". She is a rescue dog and I am in the process of adopting her. I am scared to death because a Maltese is a new experience for me. I have always had Shih Tzus. If anyone can give me an idea of the personality and what to expect of this breed I would greatly appreciate some information! Thaniks...Caryn (I will put her photo in when I get one) She is very cute!
Arf Everyone ..its Oliver popping in to say HI ! Hope all my friends are fine. I'm doing just terrific and just enjoying life with mom and dad. I've had a busy summer so far hanging out with dad while he covers fitness events for the magazine. I get to go sit in the VIP section and I'm allowed to eat (at nice restaurants) with the magazine crew before filming. My dad refers to me as his "ace" reporter...Life is good for this little maltese. Until next time.. Woof U all.
Hi everyone, we have poodles but we have rescued a little Maltese, his fur was so matted it was ripping his skin,he is over weight rotten teeth and when shave found terrible skin, vet diagnosed dermatitis. i have been washing him every couple of days as the itching drives the poor little guy mad but it is not getting better.Vet gave him some tablets but once they were finished it flared up again.I was told i had to kill the bug that causes it,any ideas please would be greatly appreciated and little Prince will love you too.
Dear Kaylene my heart goes out to you, no words will ease the pain and I have no answers for you but have you tried to contact theonlinevet? There must be an explanation she was too young! great big hugs and prayers from Jolie, Lacey and myself
My baby girl passes away suddenly this evening. She was only 4. Does anyone know what could have caused this? My heart has such a huge gaping hole....

Hope for everyone the New Year started great? Had some visitors from Holland over the holidays and they made an exceptional picture of Lacey so I had to share it with all of you!
She is now 2 years old and weighs 3 lbs. She is such a movie star according to the breeder! I fell blessed to have her, she is soooo sweet
It's been a little over a year, since Dudley, my beloved "Heart Doggy," passed on to The Rainbow Bridge. To say he is missed and that my life changed drastically since his leaving is an understatement. I have also had other tragic losses in a year. Pondering this, I realized that everything else can be replaced, but "Sir Gallahad Do Right Semper Fi," cannot. He was unique, he is my "Heart Doggy" forever and I know I'll see him at The Rainbow Bridge some day. My youngest son (to the right on my badge pic) got shipped out from Camp LeJeune yesterday for Afganistan. Please pray for him; Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah all! I'm believing for a better year!!!! "Trisha" 0;-)

Yikes, Just thought I would let everyone know that I weighed in at 5lbs 6 ozs. My vet said it was fine that I gained some weight since its all muscle. She could still feel my rib cage. But, I can't weigh more than my current weight. Mom has me running some sprints around the office. Have a wonderful day everyone. Remember MALTESE POWER !

HAPPY THANKSGIVING MALTESE LOVERS
I'm thankful that my mom and I have each other. I'm going to have a little turkey and some veggies. My vet said I could have a very small lick of pumpkin pie !
