Highway 170 Dog, took 3 months to capture, completely wild. Hid in the woods and finally calmed when i would pull in, drop food, lay far away, singing softly, 3 times a day. Highway construction was going to force him into a horrible fate. He allowed no one to see him, he was referred to as a ghost by local newspaper blogs. Captured him, FINALLY, spent 3 months socializing him, and he 'tamed up' beautifully! and he died peacefully at the rescue sanctuary, found dead in the hay February 4, 2007. My heart was shattered.
