Hi Alma: I'd be glad to look you up on facebook. Hope you had nice Christmas. We have about 14 inches of snow and its cold as the dickens out. My chihuahua has to go to the garage and us newpapers to potty because she is way over her head in the snow. Its really funny when she first saw the snow she backed up and barked at it. There was no way she was getting into it. yet our Dalmation/lab mix is out tearing up the drifts and we have to drag her in to keep her warm. She loves it. Well Have a happy holiday. Becky
I love that feeling. It is the best feeling u can ever recieve. I am getting ready to go and spend x-mass afternoon at a nursing home and visit the kids at the hospitals. to me that will be the best gift I can recieve and it is the most gratifying way to spend the holidays.
Hello Alma, Dogs are great! My girl, Angel was recently certified as a therapy dog! :) We just got back from the nursing home down the street - It's so gratifying seeing how a dog can make a person's day!
We are spreading joy here in snowy Concord, NH! -Sarah & Angel
Dear Alma: We have come to touch each others lives in more than one way. My little dog is a chihuahua and is a psychiatriatric service dog. And I lived in Puerto Rico in San Juan for a shor time with very dear friends in the 70's. It was a beautiful memory. I really miss them. So i hope to become more acquainted with you and share some stories about our dogs with each other. Thank you form contacting me. I am on facebook as "Becky Poe (Topeka Kansas)
Hello Alma...I too am involved with the therapy dog program. It has brought so much love into my life to be able to give seniors just a brief time of happiness with my dog Dallas. He has proven he also loves his job and happily goes for his visits. If I put my uniform on he knows he is also coming but if I leave without him you can see he is heartbroken. Where do you do your therapy work? Would love to hear from you. We do not have a rotti in our program yet but I am working on in.
They r so cute. Yes it is bad but I already have too many dogs and he need a place to be call home with lots of love. He is so smart and cute. I already love hima and it will be hard to see him go. U never know what might happen. If I don't find a good home oh well what another dog. But he is good as a service dog or for therapy. I wish I could donated him for service dog.
