What is your dog's breed? (If you have more than one dog, please list a name followed by breed.)
Mimi is 14 years of age, mixed Corgi, gold and white. Kali is part Chow, black, named after Kali the Hindu Goddess because when I rescued her I didnt think she was going to make it,
she had been struck by a car and left for dead (?)on I-95, she had a broken pelvis, fractured right hand/paw, and had been there for 3 days, that was 10 years ago. And Harvey's sister is Mimi's daughter and mixed Corgi, all white with a black spot on her head and left eye, she is 10 years old.
I am a massage therapist and Reiki Master since 1984. I have been involved in dog, cat, birds, squirrels, ducks and anything that is homeless or neglected for the last 10 years. I love helping animals to have a better chance to a healthy and happy life. I have been practicing meditation and Eastern Phylosophi since 1993.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
Their capacity to give unconditional love, their zest for life, their happiness when I leave a room and return just 5 minutes later, is like I have been gone for a year; their happiness when we wake up in the morning,(we sleep together in my big bed) their enjoyment when we go on our morning stroll in the park at the end of our street. We spend a lot of our time together and they are always happy to be, just be, being. We often go for a car ride, just the four of us and they love it. Their ability to give love, to play, to be our best friend, always giving, no matter what, its like they never have a "bad day" even when the circumstance are not the brightest. They are my best friends and certainly I would call them My Valentines. I have learned love and commitment from them in the purest way, and I am grateful they have chosen me to share this lifetime.

That sounds like an enjoyable afternoon. Lucky you!
PAWS N' ALL Pet Service ,llc is a company I started while my gals were living. We provide pet care in your home or mine, while working, on vacation, on a business trip or infirmed. We provide dog walking, exercising, overnights, pet taxi, waste clean-up/removal, and more... We tend to furry, feathered, scaled, shelled friends with the utmost compassion and care. It is more intimate than most services and I tend to keep it that way.
And yes, I did adopt another pup. Her name is Poobearie(Am. Eskimo/Pomerainian, 9 lb, f). I wanted a connection from my girlie-girls and was fortunate enough to have adopted her one month prior to my baby, Chia's passing(she was the last to pass). Chia accepted her lovingly and the month spent with the two of the meant so much to me.
Poobearie is my lil' brazen raisin and such a spirited, happy gal. We're good for one another. She helped me through such a difficult time, but I knew I had so much love and so does she. Her and her poppa are crazy about each other, as well. I'll try to attach a photo of my lil' bit soon.
Thank you Carmen. Your sincere compassion and sentiment are most graciously aprreciate. I wish you and you babies a wonderful, joyous life together.
My gals were and are a large part of what made me the woman I am today, as they taught me unconditional love, brought levity in times of dispair, disability and abuse and exuded immeasurable perserverence which showed me the way..............think positive, keep looking forward and never say never!
I am so grateful for their presence in my life and as promised, I continue to pay it forward. I am now owner/pet care provider of PAWS N' ALL Pet Service, llc, where I give bunches of lovin' to each and every furry, feathered, scaled, shelled friend I care for. Love and compassion are in an endless supply.
Yes, you read my memorial correctly, I lost all three of my girlie-girls w/in 6 months of one another. Maxie(16 yr. old, blind,chow/border collie) had a suspected brain tumor, which caused idiopathic vestibular disease, which rendered her incapacitated, while the world spun around her, Chia(deaf, chow) had many problems due to 2 yrs. of abuse prior to her rescue and a few age related problems, which took their toll on her, so I had to help her out, just as she did for me throughout the years. I had to let her go, so she wouldn't suffer. Poochie(schipperke/pom) had hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive form of cancer. My gentle gals are with me always, I can feel them.
