The eyes that are now blind for the most part, but somehow in my heart I know he sees me, he feels the tears on his little face, he knows the love and the fears I have. Friends, please help me pray that I will have the insight to know when the time is right, and I…

How is Quarkee? His medical problems caught my attention. My Maltese has the beginning signs of kidney disease. He was diagnosed with this last year. He is on a special diet and he has been doing fine. The vet actually stated that his BUN levels have improved dramatically. If I keep this up he can live his normal health span. Oliver will be 11 yrs old in April. How old is your Quarkee? I had another Maltese who sadly passed two years ago. Rio had alot of medical conditions. One of them was mitral valve disease (a heart condition). I was able to give him medication which helped him tremendously. What unfortunately ended Rios's life was doggie alzehmiers. Keep me posted on Quarkee's conditions. I will keep prayers coming.

Quarkee has had a good day today considering the bad news we received about his kidneys. He is consuming more water in his food, three times a day. Medication changes are none for now. The prayers are working.. We serve a big God that cares of the thinkgs of our hearts.. My prayer is every day he knows how much I love him, and that he is my world. =)

I'm so will both be in our prayers...we KNOW how hard it is to watch our precious babies being so sick. He does know how much he means to you...but keep telling him. And hold him as much as you can...They are love.

Hi ! You are right about our dogs being able to look at us when we are upset as to say everything is going to be fine. I get the same feeling when I'm down and Oliver looks at me. Always ready to cheer me up no matter what. Have a Merry Christmas and Cheers to a Prosperous New Year.
