My condolences to you and your family. I know too well how it feels to lose a good friend. I joined this website around late 2007 and was sent the I remember Love video by a friend. Maui was in the video and she reminded me of my little Rio...and I joined. By that time Rio was diagnosed with doggie senility. He was given medication that helped, But with this illness a dog's life expectancy is 6-9 months. Rio lived to see his 12th birthday but passed away
in my arms in the early morning of June 28, 2008. It was the saddest day of my life. I was able to express the emotions I was going through from the time Rio was diagnosed through this website. The site helped with the grieving process and now I write about life without Rio a year later. And how my little maltese Oliver (he was with me with Rio passed) has helped me. If you read my profie on Rio's death (you'll read what we experienced) Take Care and I'm glad you have joined this site. Take Care.
