What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
Many of our dogs will paw at us when sitting down for attention. It is amazing they have been abused, misused, neglected - yet they still have love that they want to give.

Of course you are still tall. I am 5'7" about 178#; after 50 everything goes South (no pun intended). My hair is very short, more dark brown than gray/white. I still wear glasses, but now trifocals. At my job, I spend about 3.5 hours daily on the computer, which I dislike. I would rather be with the patients. I am what is called a "Delegating Nurse" (In MD you must be an RN); another laugh for you: our RN licenses are renewed yearly and this year was $69.00 . I just cannot stop talking, but I must go home and do my laundry for next week(I wear khakis and T-shirts or shirts and Nikes), no uniforms or scrubs; the scrubs are for the non-professional staff (the 'Real Workers'); the last I heard about Wendy H. was she was working on her BSN. She was a great person, I am sure Wendy has her degree. I never went back. Soon...Carol
I wrote a rather lengthy comment, but will try to make this one short. You and I worked together at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1976. Remember coming to visit my then roommate Kathy and I with Jiminy Cricket; we had a persian cat named Lucy (Lucy was grey). I am now working with developmentally challenged senior citzens. My present life partner and I have been together for 24.5 years. We both love our 2 neutered male cats(Ridgway and Slim), both of them are short haired tabbies, one yelloe and one tiger-striped. Hope you respond, but I don't plan on an answer. Cheryl, have a great rest ofr your life. I pray you are happy in your life as I am. I still love my profession and will probably continue working to the end of my days. May God hold you in the palm of His hand forever.
