I, am a homemaker and mother of 2 childrean and 3 dogs one just passed away a few months ago but he is still part of us . The other dogs are a maltese and a blue tick hound we rescued off the street. I, like to shop, cook and read.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
Loves us not matter what is going on in our lives they are always there with a lick and a wag of the tail.

I, love to hear you are a nurse and one for 30 years that is wonderful, it must be very rewarding to know that you can make a difference in people's lives. My, mother lives with us and she is 93 and is still very active, she doesn't drive anymore we had to little by little take that away and she did not like that at all, but it was time. Yes, the doggie care lady is in heaven, and sometimes I, go up and just let them crawl all over me. Was it a big change going from New York to Florida? My, husband and I, went to New York a few years ago and it is just the most amazing city we want to go back and do more site seeing we were not there long enough. I, am a homemaker and care giver for my mom she goes to my sister's house on the weekend so that is a break for both of us. I, have 1 grand daughter and a grandson that is due to be here on monday the 7th so everyone will be busy for a while. I, am looking forward to keeping in touch with you. Write when you can I, know you are busy. You have a great day..
Hi Debbie, So good to hear from you again. I am so happy to stay in touch. Your friend with the doggie day care must love having 7 Maltese. I'd be in heaven. My babies both sleep on their backs with their paws in the air. That is just too adorable to see, isn't it? Sasha, my oldest, loves being on her back. She is so sensitive. Lily, as I mentioned before, is my mischievious one. Love them both. Alittle bit about me: I am a nurse here in Sarasota, Fl. I have been a nurse for 30 years and love it. Can't imagine any other profession for me. I am a supervisor at an elite facility for the elderly. I love my work. I have been offered a new position with alzheimer's patients in the same facility as supervisor/manager. I will probably accept this position as it is 1st shift. I currently work 2nd shift and never see my husband, or friends. We moved to Florida 3 years ago from Buffalo, NY and love it in the deep south. So, please keep in touch. I look forward to hearing from you, Debbie. Talk to you soon, Maltese Mom, Bev
Debbie, Thanks so much for your response. It is so nice to talk to fellow Maltese lovers. I love the name Gizmo. I look at Lily and think she looks like Gizmo in the Gremlin movie. I loved that character. Sorry aboput your Gizmo. I lost a Maltese several years ago. Natasha lived to be 14 yrs. old. I am so addicted to this breed. Aren't you? My Sasha is growing older too fast. She is a very delicate lady. Lily is so cute and a little devil. I love her personality. Write more when you can, Debbie. Love hearing from you. Beverly
