Clancey is doing well now. He is still playing frisbee but isn't able to chase it quite like he used to. Of course the winter has affected him.....not as much exercise as in the summer. He keeps me going. He's always ready to go for a car ride. I brought him back to Pennsylvania from Arizona in 2000 and he stood up with his head between the seats almost all the way. (He was born in Arizona)

Janet, I finally got a picture of Clancey to put on here. Clancey had surgery for a fatty tumor last year.......it weighed 7#. He's doing well though and still thinks he's a pup. (He's 10) I had another Golden, Teddy, that I had to have put to sleep in 03. You just love them so much and have to give them up so soon. I also have a cat that looks like your orange tabby....his name is Buster and he loves Clancey.

We chuckled when our first friend's name was Janet! Tony has the same little grey face as our Dara. We are still grieving her loss... and always will. We eventually will get another Golden, but not yet. Dara was sweet, smart, and always loyal. Thanks for your sentiment!

Janet, When I saw a picture of your two poodles, I thought they were mine! It surprised me to see someone else had an apricot and a red. Mine our miniatures but they are small for their breed. They are only 5 pounds each. Your poodles are beautiful and so well kept. Thank you for sharing the pictures. Kate

Chevy says thanks for the comment. He is so into himself (LOL) Tony was a beautiful dog, how sad. Odie was my first Golden and we rescued Chevy from the SPCA. I love them as a breed and will always own at least 1. They are such loving, smart dogs. Thanks for the comment!

Yes, this is our first golden. We are both retired, so she is such great company. I love the obsession with tennis balls.

Thanks so much Janet, I enjoyed looking at your photos very much also. Your white faced Tony reminds me a lot of my Win, and I loved seeing what great friends he was with your poodle. Truthfully, I don't think we ever get over losing them!
What pretty cats you have! Wish I could have a cat, but my crew has never been around cats and they have a very high prey drive, so it's not going to happen!!

I can tell you still miss Tony. They leave an imprint on our hearts forever, whether we have them for 2 years or 15 years! What a blessing to have Tony in your life!
