You are most welcome Jerry. :D Thank you for the kind words. When I first read the Jacobson's plans to adopt littermates, a lot of red flags went up. I could not help but put my two cents in as a trainer and leave my advice/opinions. I totally agree with you that the time is not now for them to be a multi-dog family. (Especially of littermates.) I am very happy with their decision. Molly wrote me personally to thank me for my honest advice. That was very nice of her.
Don't you LOVE that picture!? It's one of my favorites. It was taken at our local Humane Society shelter event called "Woofstock Adoption Day." Most of the dogs there were shelter dogs and mixed breeds. I think the one in question was some sort of a hound mix. I'm not sure which type. I DO have a great shot of a Rhodie in one of my galleries. Here is the link:
He was a purebred at one of our agility trials. Beautiful female named SunCatcher. (Which she totally did in that shot. lol) Thank you for checking out my site! I hoped you enjoyed the tour.
May this Holiday Season bring you Peace..
thanks for your note. I'm sorry to hear about Toots passing. Have you read "the rainbow bridge"? it's a lovely poem about our pets leaving us and waiting to cross the bridge together. You can google it. kids love it, and i'm a little childlike myself in my attitudes. i think we can hear our pets tell us when it's time. SOme think they don't want to go through that loss ever again. I know we will always have pets. We miss them and remember them but why would you not want another to love and be loved by? i'm happy to hear you and your wife have Sheva and Heidi. Have a happy Easter. Rocky used to hunt for eggs with the kidsand steal candy from their baskets.lots of great memories.
now he's sleeping, waiting for easter dinner.
