I am a long haul highway truck owner operator. My three fur kids and I travel all over the United States and Canada hauling meat, produce and food related items. We live in our truck and are away from home months at a time.
I have three grown children, a daughter and two sons, and 2 beautiful grandchildren. I have a grand niece that is the love of my life. She is just 9 years old and already a real heart breaker.
I am looking forward to my retirement in 2013. Hopefully to a warmer climate than Southern Alberta has to offer, but where ever it ends up, my fur kids will be a big part of it. I am a staunch believer in rescue and can see that becoming an important part of my retirement activities.
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
My three precious fur kids are always quick to cuddle up when things get stressful.
Baby Sweet Pea often places her little cheek against mine, when we are driving at night or I am feeling under the weather, just to let me know she is there and to offer love and support.
Sugar Princess is a quiet girl, but she always has a cuddle and a love for her Mommy, no matter what the circumstances.
Little Nicholas Duke of York is a little rescue boy. Watching him regain his health and vigor, as well as learn to trust and know what it is to be loved is a constant reminder that real love will conquer almost any diversity.
