Hard Loss

It has been a rough time for us. We have lost two of our beloved family members. We will miss them but we are at peace knowing they are together and not alone. They are now joining Yona and Buffy in a beautiful place of peace and happiness. We will see them again as we remember them.

Boo has followed Dinky

Boo Bear passed away, Rich believes he died of a broken heart. It was very hard to say goodbye to Dinky and even harder yet to say goodbye to Boo. I really believed they would live a long and happy life here in North Carolina. I will miss them dearly.

Dinky Doodle has passed away

Today we lost Dinky. She had shown no signs of illness but she had gained a bit of weight. Even though we have the boys and Muffin, the loss is hard. She was our little girl and was always special. Sabrina went to call them in but only three came in. They had been quiet for awhile but we didn't think anything of it. When they came in they weren't bouncing around the way they usually did. Sabrina went out the back door and was screaming for Dinky. When… Continue

Brave Boo!

We had a scare tonight. Boo attacked Muffin! Rich jumped and grabed Muffins collar but BooBear was attached to her neck. Rich was holding Boo up in the air and I grabed hold of Muffin. The way Boo had hold of her, he was lucky she couldn't get a hold of him. It apparently started over a toy that Boo did not want to share with Muffin. All week long I have had the two of them loose with me while I was working on my computer. I had no trouble at all. Neither of them were hurt but now I am worried… Continue

Happy Mothers Day !

Maybe the weather isn't what we like but Mother Earth knows what is best for her needs. I hope every mother has a safe and wonderful mothers day.

The Vizulas are my sister and her brotther in laws dogs. That in itself is a story. I had four yorkies, only two now, and my australian shepherd. It was hard loosing two yorkies at the same time. I think I am about over the loss now but I still have teary moments. I would foster dogs if I could but I do not have the energy to do that. I am disabled and have a hard time getting around. I would have a million dogs if I had the time, capabilities and could afford them.

Cute photos.
Do you foster dogs or are they not all yours?
I like the viszla's.

Hannah will be 12 in July. I couldn't afford the horse camp either, her Mom pays for it. We have to pick her up in Charlotte in July. We'll have to figure something out once I know what is happening with the auto situation.

Yeah, that would be nice. As of right now, however, we are without a vehicle! Ours died and will be interred at Matlocks' Junk Yard within the next few days!
Our granddaughter will be coming in July and will be attending horse camp right up the road from us.
We'll have to arrange something once we know what is happening with a car.
Have a great night!

I am so happy to hear your friend adopted a jack russell.
I just saw a clip on the news about the shelters and how it is only going to worse. They say the higher prices go up the more dogs will be placed into shelters. People will be forced to feed themselves and not their pets. it is a scary thought

Hi Johnny, welcome to the neighborhood! I hope you will like it here.
Where did you come from? We are from Massachusetts and moved 12 years ago. We love it here! I looked at your photos, your animals are all so cute! What would we do without them? Be rich!!!!!! ahhaha

He really likes the doggie goggles, I think it's because he's so furry that it keeps the hair out of his eyes when he's on the quad. I'll have to put some pictures of him when he's on the quad (he really loves riding).

Nice to hear from you Johnny. Our Easter was very nice but the weather was oh so cold. We still have a great deal of snow and that makes it even colder. I did get to take Quinn out for a walk and that made him so happy. They are calling for more snow to-night and to-morrow but I'm praying it does't happen. Anyway you and your babies enjoy the nice warm weather. I must get ready for bed as I have a early morning appt. to-morrow. Talk to you again real soon. All my best Shar & Quincy
