Taiko was a good pooch and he received so much love from you,
I lost my two beloved boxers years ago and still miss them, and will forever
I can only hope that i see them again, talking to somebody about me dreaming with
them once in a while she said, feel good about not sad, feel like they came to visit,
now when i dream of them my beloved dogs Sasha and Alex I wake up with a smile
on my face, My prayers are with you.
One thing you might want to consider when you are ready...I purchased a memory box for Mouta. I ordered it from snapfish last Mother's Day..It's a small wooden box with a tile on top imprinted with a picture of Mouta and it holds cherished items of hers...her collar, a bandana fro her cancer treatment, her tags an I'm a Survivor" t-shirt I bought her and a few locks of her fur. It helped me a lot to do that and I still go through her things from time to time. Just a way to keep her physically close, because she always lives on in my heart as I sure Taiko will yours!
Taiko is such a beautiful dog. Will be holding this little one in prayer. I had a Cocker Spaniel and she had the same thing. The little girl lived another year and a half after she was diagnosed. She died of a stroke not cancer! Hope for the better. Hang in there:)
Oliver and I understand what you are going through. Pets are a big part of the family. I was a caregiver to my maltese Rio for sometime through his illnesses. I would do anything for Rio and I did. I would stay up at night with him, I would do whatever was necessary to make him comfortable. We can only do our best. Taiko knows you love him and are doing the best you can do for him. Be there for each other. I agree with you about going through many things in life. Nothing is tougher than losing a best friend - your dog. Read my profile, read the stories that others have written. You will get through this. Eventhough right now it seems very difficult. Take Care and you'll be fine. Keep us posted.
