What is your dog's breed? (If you have more than one dog, please list a name followed by breed.)
I am a middle age woman living in Michigan. Recently my fiancee and I brought Lydia into our home to join us and be a "family". John and I have both had big dogs (Great Dane, and a Shepard Collie Mix) so we welcomed inquiring into a breed and getting a dog that was our style. We camp a lot and Lydia loves to do too!!
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
Our puppy is just amazingly cuddly and loves us unconditionally. From the very beginning she has been a blessing and a delight. She did "run away" a few weeks ago after getting out of our fenced back yard and John was devastated. I was in AZ. at the time and I think that maybe Lydia went to "find me." A wonderful lady picked her up on a busy highway and left her name with the vet down the street. We got her back safely and sound. She is so much a part of our lives we could not imagine what we would do without her.

Oliver is 10 years old and full of energy. Thank you for reading Rio's story. My Rio was a real trooper and I think of him often. Our pets are so much part of the family. I treated Rio like a son...just like I do Ollie. Hope to hear from you soon. This is such a nice site and so many stories to read and enjoy. Have a wonderful evening.
What is a snoodle, Schnauzer and poodle?
I have always had big dogs, German shorthair named Abigail, My baby girl, Maggie who captured my heart and I lost her 2 years ago, she was a Lab, that was from my Dad's Lab. Maggie was an awesome dog... So when I lost her I was devastated, but I had Sam which was Maggies brother, and had been my Dad's companion until Dad died. Sam was also a wonderful dog and became my son's companion, they were wonderful together. But I had a big hole that Sam just couldn't fill. So I started looking and found what I thought would be a smaller version of my beloved Lab's. A labradoodle!
Claudia is a wonderful girl, loves to play, loves to love but she is as big as my labs were! She and my husband are great friends and I still have a void.
I seen your picture of your little one and couldn't help but send you a note. She is adorable and a lap version!!
I am thinking that maybe that is what I am waiting on. A little girl that I can scoop up and take with me!
Thanks for reading
