Rudy is doing very well right now. It is becoming harder to keep him in balance as regards his congestive heart failure; but, I am working at it. He has a new little sidekick. I call her Millie.........short for "Million Dollar Kitty". Someone threw her into the roadway right in front of my car one day on my way home from work. Luckily I was already applying my brakes because of an accident up ahead. My daughter jumped out of the car and scooped up the kitty then jumped back in. To make a long story short, the kitty got loose from her and sped in circles around the car, finally coming to a stop under my front seat. Five hours later, it took 3 firefighters to get her out from under my seat!
The place where this happened was right in front of a gas station which was under construction because it was replacing it's old underground gas tanks with new ones. A couple of days later, the kitty got deathly sick. Her poop had dirt in it from the gas
station so she must have eaten dirt because she was so hungry. I am thinking maybe she was in the way and one of the workmen threw her into the road. Anyway what ever the
cause really was, she had problems in her brain and could not sit, stand, or walk when I
took her to the animal hospital. However, three days under the care of my vet; and she
started to rally. I was really surprised; but pleasantly so. I had said some prayers for her and told the Lord that if he saw fit to make her well, that I would give her a home.
So, now she is one of the sidekicks and busily growing into her ears!

Hi Hazel, thank you for your comments on my pups. They are my babies. Jake is growing and is nine months ond now. He has just finished two obedinece classed. I am thinging of doing pet therapy with him as he loves everyone and meets no strangers. He has to be a year old and the next class in my area is in March. Your girl is lovely too. Katie and Jake are my third and fourth sheltie. I love the breed.

Hi Hazel, glad it is warming up in your part of our beautiful world. The weather here has been unpredictable as of late. One day full of sunshine the next storms. I will try to bring you up to date on the goings on here. I have a new "great grand daughter" she is a preemie and weighed only 3lbs 4oz. at birth but is doing quite well. My little fur babies are enjoying being outside in the sun playing several times a day. It seems thier engery is boundless, just wish they would share some of it with me LOL How is Mandy and your grandaughter doing? Mandy looks like she would be such a love to be around. Take care and hope your days are filled with sunshine........Joy
