April begins and we start to think about the new 'beginnings' of life. Look around and it's there. Take in some fresh air and just and be still. Nature write, journal, observe, notice, noting, carpe diem each day. On this day one year ago, my big brother, Randy, got his angel wings. How I miss him dearly but know's he with God in his house. That gives me some peace. I look at the stars in a new light as they shine upon me like a beam of energy! :)
I'm looking forward to much… Continue

Sadly on Friday, March 13, 2009 our Sheltee - Tripper - was ran over by a UPS truck. It happened on our property when we were not home and was something the driver could not avoid. She ran under his back wheels. We miss her so much but I also feel sympathy for the driver. He came back and talked to me the next time he had a delivery to our house and wanted me to know how sorry he was. I do believe in the Rainbow Bridge and feel certain I will see her again when I get to Heaven.

I'm coming to the end of this amazing book. I was wondering if anyone else has read this book and what their thoughts are. Barbara Jo Kammer

Kanga is still a puppy of course (almost 5 months now)...but she is becoming a champion meditator.
I can not tell you how good we both feel after… Continue

I viewed your video of your new adorable puppy. I can see that she responds very quickly to pleasing you and yet her own quirky personality shines through. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Your wife's assessment of periods of grieving Maui are right on target. I just lost my little yorkie, Sparky, on January 27th, 2009. It's the little things that set off the tears-no little guy sleeping on my feet, no little guy being the spokes dog (I have his daughter and son) to let me know it's time to come inside-no little dog sitting in my desk drawer when I'm working my computer and many more precious memories. He was (and still is) my heart. He was 14 yrs and 7 months old. Sometimes I… Continue

I just looked at the last message I posted on this blog, and it was a holiday card!
Wow, time flies when you have a puppy.
Many people have written to ask if everything is OK.
The short answer is: Yes.
Kanga is doing extraordinarily well, which is to
say that she is full of spunk and personality
and healthy and thriving.
I couldn't be more in love with her. And yet ...
