Benson has been a pretty good puppy---easy to train, very easy going and will do almost anything you want-as long as he can figure out what it is you want! We've not had problems with him getting in the trash or stealing food off counters or tables. He is tall enough now to take things off tables without much effort.

The other morning, I left a half of a box of Froot Loops on the kitchen table and set off to get ready for work. When I came out to the kitchen, I noticed the box was gone. I turned to see Benson draped across the couch, (which he knows he is not supposed to be on) sound asleep. As I approached him, I noticed something funny--his face, which is white, was different colors. His face was covered with "Froot Loop" dust.

The box was on the floor between the couch and the coffee table intact, perhaps a bit tweaked and completely licked clean. I woke the poor boy gently and he looked at me with such innocense, I couldn't help but laugh. I wish I had thought to take a picture. All I could think of was "Froot Loops---breakfast of champions!"

Needless to say, this Mom has learned not to leave any boxes of cereal on the kitchen table!

You've got to love them for their antics!  What a cute story.  Mine would've eaten the box too!

This story made me smile. Sounds like something Sadie would've done when she was a pup. Thanks!
