TODAY MY LITTLE CHIHUAHUA MISSY WAS HIT BY A CAR AND KILLED. I CAN'T STOP CRYING. SHE GOT AWAY FROM US AND WENT ACCROSS THE STREET TO SEE "GRANDMA" HER FIRST OWNER. I TURNED AROUND AND SHE WAS GONE. HIT BY SOMEONE GOING WAY TO FAST IN A VERY SMALL RESIDENTIAL AREA. AND HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT HE HAD HIT HER UNTIL HOURS LATER. SHE WAS ONLY THREE AND A HALF, MY GRAND SON CALLED HER THE LOVE PUPPY COZ HER TAIL NEVER STOPPED AND NEITHER DID HER KISSES.. I MISS HER SO MUCH. MY HEART IS BROKEN. MY EYES ARE SWOLLEN AND MY LITTLE MISSY IS GONE.

Hi Lois,
Thanks for your kind words and blessings. You are so right I will never forget her. And I find comfort that she''ll be waiting for us over that bridge.

Hi Crystal,
Thanks for the very kinds and thoughful words. I can't believe that losing a pet can accually cause a physical pain.My Missy is also burried close and I do visit her. My husband and I planted some beautiful bright yellow mums there. It reminds me of the sunshine she brought into our lives.I am so sorry about your Mollie. And you are right on about the love part. She sure loved us no matter what. My Husband wants to adopt another pup, but I do have 3 other dogs and I'm just not ready for that yet. I really want to but I think I have to grieve a little longer , ..my heart is broken as I am sure your is. I think my other dogs feel a loss also.I'll will be waiting for that photo of Mollie. A hug and prayers to you also from Missy and me. And a special hug for those lucky new baby's of yours.

Hi Cyndie,
I too lost my baby girl three weeks ago today and I feel like I cant breathe.
I understand your pain and I believe you never really know love until you have loved an animal.
Mollie is burried in a special place where I can "visit" her daily and keep her special spot pretty just as she is.
Hubby took me to the Humane Society and I adopted Sandie,a long hai chi mixed with another little unknown breed. Her story of neglect was heartbreahing and she is just now starting not to yelp when I pick her up.The timing was a Godsend, although Mollie is my love,He knew Sandie needed someone who was patient and didnt care if she had patches of hair missisn(duct tape stuck on her).Ill send a photo when she is more comfortable.
Check out your local shelter, everything happens for a reason.I bet there is one there waiting for you to take home and love. You are in my prayers and a big hug to you from Mollie and me.
