I believe strongly in prayer. And, I do not think it is wrong to pray for an animal. God created all living things and He loves them all. We have domesticated certain animals, brought them into our homes, and our hearts. Why then, should we be hesitant about praying for the very creatures He created, and gave us the capacity to love?

We have been where you were. Unfortunately, our lab results were not favorable. But, after the initial grieving, and believe me, we did!, we could thank God for the short time (13 years) that we had her.

So, and I believe you will, remember this experience. And the next time you have to treat an animal who is fighting a terminal condition, and who is the center of someone's life, remember to also show immense compassion to the ones who are grieving.

I am elated for you, and Bjorn, that your results were so good. The camera showed your relief, and your love for him. So, take comfort in the fact that God did answer everyone's prayers.
