I live in Glendale, Ca. Its the city right next to Pasadena (Rose Bowl). Oliver and I have been running around all weekend - just arrived Sunday evening. He is sleeping right now since he had a busy day. Aren't we lucky to be able to travel with Champ and Oliver. As far as seeing Rio- I suppose I am very fortunate that I have since him twice since he passed. Both times I had been thinking of Rio and then out of the corner of my eye I saw what looked like Rio running down my living room hall way. I wrote on this site a story if it were my imagination (you may have read it). I received a huge response. I truly believe it was Rio checking up on me. The kitty collar Rio wore was what I put on him when he was diagnosed with doggie senility. He would pace at night (one of the symptoms) and I wanted to be sure I knew where he was. When he passed I prayed every night for the Lord to give me a sign that Rio was fine. Then at 1am one night I heard the collar bells and his bark. Right there and then I knew Rio was fine. I have always been a very spirtual person and that is probably why I was able to see Rio twice after he passed. I also feel that is why I saw a light around him when he passed. The feeling I went through at the exact time he left this earth is something I have never experienced in my life. I become very emotional when I think of that moment and I haven't really told too many people.about that. Ahhh, yes I too wish Oliver could live to be 20.....Have a lovely evening....Oliver is snoring now !
Its an amazing experience to be with our pets when they pass. Although, I do miss Riio terribly, I am blessed that we were together when he passed. I never imagined he would pass in my arms with Oliver by my side. I too wish Oliver would live to bo 20. I cherish every moment with Ollie, he is my best pal and he comes with me everywhere. I am lucky he can come with me to work. When does Champ turn 10? We have a busy weekend. Have a lovely weekend with Champ. Enjoy.
