I am a Dutch/American came here to Arizona 18 years ago straight from Holland and now I have 2 "homes". All my life I had something special with animals, I was never without. Had 2 Shih Tzu's they past away of old age (15.5 and 14 years!) My dogs are my everything, I trained myself to wash groom and take care of them, their my children and join me every where I go I am a big fan of the dogwhisperer and Dr. Andrew Jones (theonlinevet) Had a big Briar (french mountaindog) in Holland but now I have small dogs because it is easier to groom and travel with them
What is one thing your dog does that reminds you to open your heart and love more deeply?
relax, be gentle and love everyone for who they are

I live in Australia, Utah is a long way lol, but yes we do have benadryl..i have been giving him sardines daily..lots of oil..i got what we call Mallaseb, a medicated shampoo that is supposed to kill the bug and have been rubbing a baby rash oil into his skin which seems to sooth the itching. The vet here gave him some tablets but he has to go off them to get his teeth done,he is a rescue dog so hope we get him back on track soon. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Antoinette, Sorry I have not returned a comment. How's your new baby doing? What a little dolly. My breeder was breeding pure villa maltas when I got my Sasha. She is 100% villa malta. Lily is part villa malta. I will contact Debbie when we're ready. Thanks so much for all the info. Talk to you soon. Bev

Thanks so much Antoinette. You did luck out. I am so happy for you. You got the best. Northwin will not fly puppies out either. That's a good thing. Yes, I have many books on Maltese about original breeder who past away a few years back. There were many legal issues regarding Villa Maltas due to her passing away. I think it was the breeding thing. I had to have my girls spay, also. Cannot breed them which was fine with me. I just love the Villa Maltas so much and again, I am so happy for you. Please keep in touch. Enjoy your new baby. Bev

Thanks so much for writing me. Can I please ask where you got your Villa Malta? They are difficult to find and I want another if possible. I am fine. Dealing with the effects of hurricanes down here in Florida. Nothing serious so far, You never know which way it will turn. Did you get your baby from my breeder? Look forward to hearing from you. Bev

Hi Morgan, the organic chicken and veggies is great but stay away from science diet go to california natural or Innova f.i. (info from Dr.andrew Jones I have his book!) add white rice
some flaxseedmeal and multi vitamin for puppies add a tablespoon of lukewarm water and
mix. Angeleyes works great you need very very little but wait till she is about 15 weeks she is too little I think right now.

Thank you for the feed back. I'm cooking organic chicken brest and veggies adding this to her science diet puppy food. I'de like to eventually feed her what I cook for her exclusivly. She is 10 weeks today . Very formative time in her life. I have the vitamins and she gets them daily. Please be a friend?

Hi Antionette, I have never heard of Angel Eyes ( i am in Australia btw, we probably don't have it here). My little Summer was on antibiotics because she was very sick, it just happened to clear her tear stains, so I guess there must be some connection there. I know that show people use antibiotics, but for me, I wouldn't if my dog was not sick. My older boy has had bad tear staining, so I just followed my vets advice keeping the fur clipped around his eyes. Works well :). Good luck
