Just a word to let you know both Lucky Boy & Mr Gibson have gone over the Rainbow Bridge. They left behind a huge hole in our family.

They had good lives here, part of the family, and were taken from us far too soon.

Ms Maggie is still here &, thankfully, going strong despite vision issues. She is 11.

I am thinking ahead. This summer, July, I will get a boxer puppy to train to succeed Donovan.  I can afford the puppy but I cannot afford the training school.

There is an $800 deposit that has to be paid at the time of application.  Then, on the first day of class, there is an additional $400 to be paid.  Six months after that there is another $400…

It's a week ago that Donovan was euthanized. It feels like yesterday, and it feels forever ago.  I don't know how to explain it, but it's like he's not gone even though I know he is.

My service dog, Donovan has cancer and has to be euthanized.  I truly will be remembering love within a short time.  He and I have loved one another for twelve years.  That's a long time for a boxer..  So much, though for him living to be sixteen like the breeder on the bus said he would.

As a animal lover of all types of dogs, cats, etc, Scotty came to me when Sammy my other sheltie lost his brother in 2011. Scotty is a companion then Sammy went home to rainbow bridge. Scotty lost his sight, and with the high costs of medical care for him I don't know what to do other then place him with a Sheltie rescue. I have been balling my eyes out. Has anyone have to do this?
